Driveway and Right of Way Ordinance Amended

         

          BE IT RESOLVED by the TOWN BOARD OF THE TOWN OF BLACK      CREEK has amended the Driveway and Right of Way Ordinance.

 

          On December 15, 2016 the Town Board of Black Creek approved an update to the culvert description and that the cost of the permit will be included with the Town of Black Creek Fee Schedule.

The culvert and ends must be of DOT (Dept. of Transportation) approved material with tapered ends.

If a culvert is installed, tapered ends are required.  "NO" straight up and down walls are allowed.  The size and length of the culvert will be on the permit as determined by the Town Board with the minimum being 18 inch diameter or 15 inch squash culvert and 32 feet in length.  The culvert and ends must be of DOT (Dept. of Transportation) approved material with tapered ends.  At the end of a driveway, a turn around with at least a 30 feet radius or some other method to allow emergency vehicles to turn around shall be provided as determined by the Town Board. 

A permit is required to do work in the town right of way.

BEFORE WORK BEGINS, IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK WITH THE COUNTY ZONING DEPT., PHONE (920-832-5255), TO DETERMINE IF ANY ADDITIONAL PERMITS ARE REQUIRED FROM THE COUNTY.  IF A PERMIT IS NOT TAKEN OUT BEFORE THE START OF CONSTRUCTION THE PENALTY SHALL BE THREE TIMES THE PERMIT FEE.
