Planning Commission Meeting Minutes
 

Thursday, January 26, 2017                                              6:00 p.m.                                                    Town Hall
The Planning Commission Meeting started at 6:00 p.m.
 
Town Planning Commission members present:  Dan Knutzen (Chairman), Norman Steffens, William West, Michael Garvey, Lee Lemke, and Karen Herman (Town Clerk) was present. 

Nathan Riehl was present and left the meeting at 6:34 p.m.

MOTION:  Lemke/West accept the November 16, 2016 Planning Commission meeting minutes as written. 
All said aye.  Motion carried

a)  Nathan Riehl—Purchasing 20 Acres of Land Locked Land on Ott Rd for New Home,
      Requesting Variance/Approval– Parcel #010-0474-00, 20 acres, land owner Pat Riehl. 
      The following two scenarios of land purchase was discussed to acquire easement:  Buying 120 ft
      (1.82 ac) that Nathan Riehl would exchange for land (Heiden) orpurchasing an additional 120 ft of
       land (Waldvogal). 

       Issues:  property is zoned exclusive agriculture, active farmland, flagged lot land. 
       MOTION:  Garvey/Lemke land to stay exclusive agriculture.  All said aye.  Motion carried.

b)  Certified Survey Maps (CSM) or Preliminary Consultation Checklist Recommendations: 
      --Walter Hess Parcel # 010-040700 and 010-039900

      Hess Preliminary Consultation Checklist reviewed at last meeting.  No CSM received.

             --CS Rentals LLC Parcel # 010-072201

             MOTION:  Garvey/Lemke the CSM for CS Rentals is approved by the Planning Commission and sent
             to the Town Board.  All said aye.  Motion carried.

      c)  Daniel and Donna Lubinski Selling Property on Ballard Rd, 38 Acres, Parcel #010-024600– Selling lots
           with general agriculture zoning.  Situation reviewed, no recommendations.

      d)  Discuss Base Farm Tract Map Time Line for Completion– Request section maps from Outagamie
           County identifying owner names, parcel number, acreage, and highlight exclusive agriculture
           property.

      e)  Appoint New Zoning & Planning Consultant – Discussion took place.

The revised comprehensive plan is on the town website.

List of names who received a disk copy of our revised comprehensive plan received from Jeff Sanders

Chapter 12 and the Future land use map was not included with our revised comprehensive plan paper
 copies.  Jeff Sanders has resolved this situation.               

       f)   Set Date for Next Planning Commission Meeting – February 23 at 6:00 p.m.

MOTION:  West/Lemke motion to adjourn at 7:35 p.m.
